A FREE science and engineering workshop at OSU for middle school girls

Do you see science or engineering in your future?  Join us for a day of exciting activities designed to help you see the world of possibilities in science and technology careers!

Date and Time: Saturday, November 7, from 8:15am - 1:15pm

Location: International Forum (also called Memorial Union East, on the south side of Snell Hall), Oregon State University

Event Information:

*This event is for any interested middle school (6th, 7th, and 8th grade) girls and parents/guardians*

The workshop will include an engineering team challenge, fun, hands-on activities, and the opportunity to meet successful female professionals and students in science, engineering, and technology.  Wear your walking shoes, as you'll have a chance to step in to research laboratories and classrooms on campus, and through interactive tours and workshops, learn how scientists and engineers make a difference at OSU.

Parents and guardians are invited to attend the laboratory tours and an interactive session designed to give parents tips for encouraging their daughters in science and engineering careers.
