Grade Level Designation

Grade level designation is for the grade in which your son/daughter is enrolled in currently. For Summer registrations, it will be the grade the student has most recently completed.

For example: If your son/daughter is currently in 6th grade, the summer
grade level would be 6th grade

Fill out the application in its entirety (one application per child). Please apply early; our small classes fill quickly. To register for more than three classes attach a separate sheet of paper with your additional class choices. Click HERE to download the registration form.

Online Reservation System

By completing the online form, we will hold a spot for you in the class for up to seven business days. To secure your space in the class, we need a signed and completed application form along with a check or cash before the class begins. Online reservations will NOT be available 2 weeks prior to the beginning of the class.

Mail, E-Mail or Deliver Your Application

Send your completed application and payment to: Saturday Academy at OSU, 245 Batcheller Hall, Oregon State University, Corvallis, OR 97331-2404. Please make checks out to Saturday Academy. Applications are processed in the order received.

Tuition Assistance

Saturday Academy is committed to making it possible for any interested student to participate in classes and workshops regardless of his or her financial situation. Tuition assistance is available to students for one class per term and is awarded on a sliding scale based on family income and circumstances. The application is simple and confidential.

Families with an annual income of less than $36,000 are eligible for tuition assistance. Larger families and those with special circumstances but higher incomes may also be eligible.

To request tuition assistance, simply mark the "Please send me an application for financial assistance" box on the registration form. We will send you an application and, if there is room in the class, we will hold the student's place while we process your request. You may also download the application HERE.

Your enrollment in the class is pending until you return the tuition assistance form to us. Once we process your form we will send you confirmation that your enrollment is complete. Class information will not be sent until your enrollment is complete.

Required Attendance

Attendance at the first class is required for most courses. Students missing the first class risk being withdrawn from the class with no refund.

Expectations

Saturday Academy is for interested and motivated students who are willing and able to participate in class. Please let us know in advance if your student has special learning needs. Our instructors make every attempt to provide a successful learning experience for all students. Disruptive students or students who are unable or unwiling to participate in class will be withdrawn from class. No refund will be given.

Enrollment Procedures

• Once we receive your application, you will receive email confirmation that you are enrolled in the class.
  
• You will receive details and directions in the mail approximately two weeks before the first class.
• If you do not receive this information three business days before the class, please call our office at 541-737-8139.
• If the class is full when your application arrives, you will be notified and placed on a waiting list.
• If there is insufficient enrollment, the class will be cancelled. You will be notified by email or phone and receive a refund in the mail.

Refund Policy

• All class withdrawals are subject to a $10 non-refundable processing fee.
• No refund will be issued for withdrawals 6 business days (M - F) or less before the first class meeting.
• No refund or credit will be issued if you fail to attend the class.
• Full refund will be issued if the class is cancelled. It may take up to 6 weeks for you to receive your refund check in the mail.

Gift Certificates

Saturday Academy is delighted to offer gift certificates for classes. You can purchase a gift certificate for any amount and apply it toward tuition for any Saturday Academy class. For more information, call us at 541-737-8139.
